Len Forkas
President
Len Forkas is a Fairfax County, VA resident and founded Hopecam in 2002, the year his son matthew was diagnosed with cancer.
Since moving to the area in 1983, Len has worked in the real estate development industry for over 20 years, where he was employed by Oxford Development Company, Winchester Homes, and South Charles Realty Company (a division of Bank of America) before starting his own company named Milestone Communities. Milestone is a land development company that develops real estate in Maryland and Virginia. 

In addition Len also is the President of Milestone Communications, a wireless tower business that builds and manages wireless towers in the Washington area in partnerships with school and park authorities. Len is the Chairman of the Urban Land Institute's Washington DC Council, which has over 1,200 members and was on the board of Directors for the Washington area YMCA between 1998 and 2002.  In 2000, Len partnered with Sunrise Valley Elementary School in Reston and has supported many of the schools activities. Len has bachelor degrees from the Ball State University College of Architecture and a Master of Business degree in finance from the American University.
Peter Melmed
Director
Mr. Peter Melmed has 17 years experience in the Real Estate Development industry with an emphasis on retail development.  Prior to joining Milestone he was a Director of Carl Freeman Retail (CFR) and Vice President of development for Giant Food Inc.  While at CFR, Mr. Melmed was responsible for management of a portfolio of more than one million square feet.  At Giant he built 20 retail shopping centers totaling more than 1.5 million square feet and managed three million square feet of space.  Mr. Melmed was assistant director at the Denver Housing Authority, where he was responsible for the development and renovation of over 1,000 assisted housing units.  He earned a BS in Civil Engineering at the University of Vermont in 1982 and an MBA in Real Estate Finance at the University of Denver in 1991.
Kevin Reynolds
Director
Mr. kevin Reynolds is Co-President and a member of the executive management team at Cardinal Bank.  His financial background includes serving the lending needs of business and commercial customers, as well as helping individuals and families find the right banking products and services to meet their needs.  Kevin worked with George Mason Bank, American Security Bank and The National Bank of Washington before joining Cardinal Bank when it was established in 1997.

While helping customers find the best financial solutions, Kevin has also been active in the community.  His volunteer efforts, business expertise, and hands-on support have contributed to the success of many worthwhile community projects and fundraisers for organizations such as Rotary International, City of Fairfax Club, City of Fairfax Renaissance Housing Corporation, American Heart Association, International Children’s Festival, Charity Works, Special Olympics and more.  He is currently spearheading the Annual Cardinal Bank Charity Golf Classic event on May 17, with a goal of raising $1,000,000 over five years for the teens and families served by the Inova Kellar Center.
