Day 10 RAAM

LEN DEDICATES HIS 'RAAM DAY 10' RIDE TO cambria.

Day 10 is for Cambria

After Len reached TS35 yesterday he took a much needed rest and then was off again cycling in the state of Illinois and onto Indiana.

Len was live on 'Whatever it Takes with with Curt Schilling'. You can hear his interview at the Whatever It Takes Archives - Thursday June 22 at the 5900 mark.  He was also interviewed again from Michael J On Air with 98.7 WMZQ, listen to the interview here:  Len Forkas Interview June 22, 2017.   Michael J has a lot of supporters in Illinois, as Len and the crew were receiving so many honks and well wishes as he cycled through the state, thanks to Michael J!!

You might have heard Len tell the following story on air, that on Day 1 of RAAM, his foot was run over by one of the support vans!  His foot should have been broken in a million pieces, but someone or a higher power was watching over him, as NOTHING happened to his foot.  We didn't make this public earlier in the race to not worry anyone.

Len stopped at Bloomington, Indiana where Len graduated from Ball State University - College of Architecture (Class of 82).  Len's Professor met him at the time station and he talked to him.  Len was thrilled to see him!
