Kyle was diagnosed on December 15, 2016 with High Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Kyle is a very active little boy. He just had a birthday on May 4th. He is now 11 years old. He like sports cars, his favorite car is the Chevy Camaro SS. Whenever we drive anywhere, he constantly sees cars he likes. He takes pictures of the cars he likes, also. We got a motorbike earlier this year and Kyle and his brother, Koty likes to ride it in the front yard. One thing about Kyle that is amazing everyone, is that he has not lost all of his hair. He had such thick hair before he started Chemo, and it has thinned a little, but he still has a whole head of hair. The Dr's said that they have not seen a child yet not lose their hair during Chemo. Everyone is really surprised that Kyle still has his head full of hair at this stage of treatment. We plan on waiting to see how much of his hair he loses as time goes on without shaving it or anything.
He has not been allowed to go back to school, which he misses very much. He misses his friends and his teacher. He was very sad that he couldn't go back to school. That was when we were told about Hopecam and Skype to be able to stay in touch with his class. He has definitely enjoyed the times he has been able to talk with everyone thanks to Hopecam.
